Low Tier City 3(190 Singles Entrants) – 8/1/2015, Dallas, TX

In addition to being the 2nd largest Texas melee tournament in the past 5 years (behind Forte 2), this event was the first time Wobbles has taken an entire event over a god, winning 3-1 in both winners and grands over M2K.

Melee @ the Made(49 Singles Entrants) – 7/31/2015, Oakland

The 2nd edition of Melee at the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment was a great success! Norcal/Midwest up-and-comer Goose swept the bracket with Pikachu despite flying under the TO’s radar and not being seeded.
Tournament favorite Ralph struggled in the Falco-Marth matchup, losing close sets to Bardull in winners and Nhat in losers semis.

Let’s Go Kyle(45 Singles Entrants) – 8/2/2015, Sudbury, Ontario

Sudbury’s largest tournament to date was co hosted by team EMG. With a bunch out of town talent in attendance for Melee and Smash 4, we had 67 unique entrants. Streaming our event for the first time as well, Let’s Go Kyle was a huge success. With players from Toronto, Ottawa, North Bay, Mississauga, Orillia, Timmins + more in attendance, this was a real Northern Ontario Regional. EMG’s own Weon-X won our event, and the top 4 players in attendance placed in the top spots. However Sudbury’s top player Hex did still hold that 5th place result along side North Bay’s top player DPT|Nuisance. The true hero of LGK was Kyle himself though. (Idea) had an impressive run, beating both SAUS and n0ne in losers to make it to GFs. Going in, the name of the event did not refer to any specific Kyle, rather its just a saying we have in Sudbury now. However after watching that puff, the event really was Let’s Go Kyle!!

Let’s Go Kyle(38 Singles Entrants) – 8/2/2015, Sudbury, Ontario

The top 4 Smash 4 players in Ontario made it out to this event. Thank you guys very much for representing your community. Sudbury was blessed to have you guys show us how Smash 4 is played at top level. With 38 entrants it was a pleasant surprise to see players from multiple towns attend this to play Smash Wii U. Game 10 of GFs between Poke and V115 was a hype finish to the tournament.

Project M (1)

Low Tier City 3(232 Singles Entrants) – 8/1/2015, Dallas, TX

Run by Tourney Locator, LTC3 is the largest Project M tournament of 2015 so far, and the 5th largest of all time, behind Apex 2014, Big House 4, sktar 3, and CEO 2014. We saw Junebug as the champion, dark horse Drinking Food as the runner up, and many notable upsets, including Mew2king and Sethlon tying for 9th place.
