The Oregon SHFFL(169 Singles Entrants) – 6/20/2015, Eugene, Oregon

With both Oregon’s and Washington’s top talent (excluding Silent Wolf), SHFFL was a smash success. The tournament was a fantastic example of Oregon TO prowess. With only 1 day to run 6 brackets (singles and doubles of Melee, PM, and Smash 4), and taking no pre-registration, the tournament ran ahead of schedule.

New Game Plus VIII(100 Singles Entrants) – 6/16/2015, Brooklone, MA (Boston)

The 8th of Bostons revamped weekly hosted every Tuesday at Osakas Japanese Sushi and Steakhouse hosted by Big Blue eSports.
In a record breaking 100 man bracket (following three weeks of 80 man brackets) surprise guests DJ Nintendo and The Moon came and prevented Mafia from taking his 3rd straight tournament.

High School Smash IV(54 Singles Entrants) – 6/20/2015, South Pasadena, CA

SoCal’s High School only monthly is back with the fourth installment of High School Smash. Featuring students from classes 2015 to 2018, this tournament rounded off at 54 entrants, along with guest appearances from two SoCal power ranked players, MacD and ConnorTheKid.

TGC 3(41 Singles Entrants) – 6/20/2015, Houston, TX

Texas Gaming Championships 3 was the third in a tournament series in Houston that features Smash Wii U and various other fighting games hosted by Xyro and AirbrushKing. Many of the best Melee players in Houston were in attendance, including the undisputed #1-ranked GG | Mojo. Although Mojo lost in a set of Falcon dittos against longtime training partner Jake13 in Winner’s Finals and struggled with the Fox ditto against Dawn in Loser’s Finals, he ultimately took 1st place in a convincing 6-0 over Jake13 in Grand Finals. Ontario Smash 4 Arcadian(84 Singles Entrants) – 6/20/2015, Toronto

Ontario’s first Smash 4 Arcadian was held this weekend with a unique mentor drafting system in place for Ontario’s top Smash4 players to provide coaching to specific players throughout the tournament. 84 players from across the province attended with Blank and Yoh fighting in grand finals. After being sent to losers by Blank, Yoh came back with a vengeance when they played once again in grand finals, resetting the bracket 3-0 and ultimately taking the event in set 2 with a 3-1 victory.

BOSS 2: Project M Regional(112 Singles Entrants) – 6/20/2015, San Jose, CA

Hosted by Silicon Smash at the AFK Gamer Lounge,
BOSS 2 was the most complete lineup of California talent to date!
– Half of Socal’s PR: including Lucky, iPunchKidsz, Machiavelli, and Stauffy.
– 9 out of 10 of the Bay PR: including Mr. B, ThunderzReign, and Kwan.
– MIOM Rank 20, Norcal Melee Rank 1, SFAT!
– Plenty of talent from Sac: including Boringman, Legit, and Galen the Wise, and Virus.
– And the most accomplished Roy player in all of Smash, Sethlon!
Highlights from the tourney were the Loser’s Finals match between Lucky and IPK where Lucky showed his technical fluency and also his mastery in the Lucario-Fox Matchup.
And then an unbelievable grand finals where Lucky manage to reset the bracket and then take a second set against Sethlon, the very person who had sent him in to loser’s in the first place.
