Just curious, Hax has showed him to be at best place 17 of tournaments, with a 33rd place and a 17th placing and one where he didnt attend. How can he place above 17? Like how can he place higher on ranking than he has in a tournament?
Because this was done by a vote and the east coast players still see him as a god. They talked about this on the last MIOM podcast.
Are you suggesting that Hax is worse than any of the players below him, excluding maybe Ice (who he beat 3-0 at Super Nebs 2). Yes, his year hasn’t been great for his standards, but it’s not like he has bad losses. At Evo he tied with SFAT and SilentWolf, out placed Shroomed, and placed only 1 round lower than Westballz and Lucky. How can you say that he isn’t a top 15 player.
Because 20xx CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK. But yeah, he seems to be ranked on potential more than anything else, which is strange because his hand condition may hinder him from placing any higher than he currently is.
you can’t count his 33rd apex placing…he didn’t even show up to that event. He only got a place cuz he got enough points in the qualifier tournaments
Because he is still a great player, who has waned due to health problems. When he recovers (2016?) he’ll be top ten again.
That’s not a great answer for why he’s 17th right now. They try to not rank other players by their potential, really it’s just a popularity contest.

but honestly they are all from the player sleepyk who always lets people cuddle with dunas throughout big tournaments, and takes pictures of them with the dunas.
They’re called Duna, and they belong to SleepyK (Someone from GA that helps with the scene heavily in the background, but he doesn’t really play) SleepyK takes them to tournaments, and it’s kind of become tradition to take a picture with one.

I’m so glad they tied for Lucky and SFAT because that’s EXACTLY WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. To say one is better than the other is flaming a NorCal vs SoCal rivalry.
