We are about 1 week away from launching MeleeItOnMe 2.0 and hope to continue to provide the community with information and resources. We’ve also passed the 1,000,000 page view mark. Thank you for supporting MIOM!

Here are some announcements from the team:

1. The Website

Guides
– The site will be updated and will also extend to include content to help new players get integrated into the community. Also, we are including character guides on the site! Any player will be able to create guides for the community. In addition, we aim to make the front page as user-friendly as possible for new players who are just getting into the competitive smash scene by providing an easy interface with links to provide them the necessary resources to get plugged in and improve.

2. Match Reviews

– We will be doing content on our “off-weeks” of the podcast. This Thursday (7/24/2014) we will be doing match reviews. If you want to see a match critiqued, fill out this form.

3. MIOM Apparel

Unfortunately, jackets are a team-exclusive thing, but we will be offering T-Shirts soon. All proceeds will be funneled back into tournaments and web development to further help the community. One of the tournaments will be….

4. Big House 4

MIOM’s very own Juggleguy will be running this tournament in the Fall. Every tournament has been marvelously run with spacious venues, several setups, and on-the-dot scheduling. I highly recommend that you sign up and attend.
