Every year we are able to provide a great tournament experience in part thanks to the generous efforts of volunteers. If you are willing to volunteer as a pool captain or other role during The Big House 5, please fill out the form here.
As a volunteer at TBH5, you will be rewarded with:
1. an official event staff t-shirt
2. premium seating during Sunday Top 8 finals
In addition, you will gain the opportunity to network with Michigan Smash leadership on a more personal level than just another head in the crowd.
Anyone (player or spectator) may volunteer. Please note that you will be required to attend a staff meeting at the venue at 11pm Thursday October 1st, where you will be assigned volunteer shifts over the weekend. If you cannot make this meeting, submit an application anyway, but you will need approval from a main TO to help out.
Most volunteers will be serving as pool captains during the weekend, but we also need help with miscellaneous tasks such as setup and teardown. You may run as many brackets, or fulfill as many other shifts, as are available over the weekend. Thank you very much for your interest in helping The Big House 5 run smoothly!
