Another record breaking tourney for us on all ends. Most attendants, ran smoother than the last, NorCal came down, and we had Mango on commentary. Laudaundus did the best of his brethren placing 5th. He lost to Mike Haze, then trekked through a losers bracket of Sheik’s and Hugs before MacD finally stopped the invader 3-2.
Surprises from SoCal when Fly beats Luck in Winners Semis. Lucky is unphased by this, and makes his own impressive run though losers, taking Westballz to set 2 game 5. It goes down to a last stock last hit situation, and Westballz finishes Lucky off with a ballsy Bair, that had it missed, would have cost Westballz the set.

Nebulous Stream Returns! Fun tournament, managed to do all of RR pools and bracket in 5 hours. 3 TMG matches happened, SBU won over MC and MSM, MSM won over Stevens.

MATE ll: Melee Edition (40 Singles Entrants) – 3/1/2015, Leicester, United Kingdom

Second edition of a new regional tournament series in Leicester in the United Kingdom. Featuring both Melee Doubles and Singles, the pre-registration was filled in less than 24 hours, attracting 3 of the UK’s top 10 players as well as other local top players.
The tournament was a success with everything running on time and some seriously good sets being played out in both doubles and singles and upsets galore.
Midlands locals Willz + Jin took doubles over Londonners D2D Jolteon and Inertia in a close fought Grand Finals and Deathgazer, considered top 6 in the UK, finally took singles in set 2 of an incredibly hype grand finals over Jin.
Look out for more to come from the Midlands over 2015!
