MeleeItOnMe was started on the basis of uniting the Melee scene with leaders who grow the community through organizing tournaments, being ambassadors, and bringing awareness to community-wide issues. Over the past year, we have been lacking in solid East Coast representation. With a unanimous decision, MeleeItOnMe is very pleased to bring Matthew “MattDotZeb” Zaborowski onto the team.
I’ve known MattDotZeb for over 5 years now, and he’s consistently gone above and beyond for Smash. For about as long as he’s been playing, Matt has been a major TO in New England, and his latest endeavor, The Melee Games, has been a perfect example of a Smasher taking a great idea and turning it into something real. I’m stoked that Matt is joining the ranks of MIOM. With his help, we’ll be able to do an even better job serving both the Melee community and the whole Smash community. – Bobby “Scar” Scarnewman
MIOM has focused on highlighting people who care about the scene, and I don’t think we can overlook MattDotZeb. New England’s presence grows because of him in addition to several others, and the initiative he’s shown with The Melee Games is phenomenal. I’ve known him for ages, and the guy is one of those forward thinkers that any scene would be blessed to have. – Wynton “prog” Smith
As a player, MattDotZeb is known for his read-style Falco that combos creatively with his liberal use of forward-smashes. He’s had many great moments, defeating players such as Leffen, and also having a heated rivalry with Kage the Warrior. More importantly, as a community leader, MattDotZeb has grown a collegiate circuit known as “The Melee Games”, resurging the Northeast scene with a massive influx of new players. Despite the success, the tournament series has gone under the radar in other parts of the world. As a group, we want to recognize MattDotZeb for his hard work and promote and support “The Melee Games” as much as we can.
Joining MIOM has been a bit of an unreal goal of mine. That’s to say, I had the desire to join the team but not the expectation that it would ever happen so imagine my excitement when this came to pass. MIOM does truly wonderful things for the Smash community, I’m excited to work alongside everyone and bring in some New England flavor. – Matthew “MattDotZeb” Zaborowski

“liberal use of forward-smashes” lmao I’m dead.
One of my favorite twitter battles of all time was when Gimr and Mattdotzeb were arguing about which one had the jankiest falco.
We played it out in an EVO hotel room with judges and everything. Go bug papapaint to release it
