The summer of smash might be over, but the high-octane action sure isn’t. The 4th installment of the Big House series, hosted by MIOM | Juggleguy, will be one of the most exciting tournaments of the year with an astonishing ~570 entrants, making it the 4th largest tournament in Melee history. P4K EMP Armada, C9.Mango, Crs.Hungrybox, and P4K EMP Mew2King are all in attendance and in strong contention to win it all. Nipping at their heels are Leffen, MOR|Axe, VGBC|Hax, and a slew of other strong players. Once a modest regional, The Big House has spread its wings and influence with a global presence. The tournament will feature multiple rounds of pools and several awesome streams to satisfy your Melee and Project M cravings. Along with top level talent, The Big House 4 will feature an all-star lineup of commentators such as Scar, Toph, HomeMadeWaffles, TKBreezy, TheCrimsonBlur, and Webs.

The Players
Question marks remain once again over the past few months. Mango took a break after his amazing run over the summer, winning both MLG and Evo. Armada, seeping from his losses, wants to avenge the summer and show that he’s the best. Hungrybox has had an amazing run over the past few months, taking the last few sets over Mew2King and has the mini-advantage over Armada. Mew2King, focusing his attention on Smash 4, hasn’t looked like his usual self in the past few months. Will he show up like he did at The Big House 3?
Aside from the gods, a slew of top level talent from around the world will be present in Michigan. Hailing from Europe, Leffen and Professor Pro aim to make noise in the bracket. From the West Coast, Axe, Westballz, SFAT, MacD, Hugs, Lucky, Bladewise, and Shroomed are in attendance. Florida players such as Plup, Colbol, Wizzrobe, and Gahtzu want to show how deep their region is. The East Coast also comes in full force with Hax, The Moon, Nintendude, DJ Nintendo, Zanguzen, DoH, Zhu, Cactuar, and several others. Defending their own turf, Midwest players, Kels, Darkrain, Duck, Abate, Darkatma, Dart, Frootloop, and VaNz all want to show that their region is no joke. Needless to say, this tournament will be unbelievably stacked with one of the deepest player pools in history.

Follow the action on social media this weekend!
I’m so ready for the armada vs Hbox rematch! I think leffen might have an awnser for hbox though so we might not get it.
When your only vaguely nationally threatening player is Duck (maybe?) I think we can conclusively say that your region IS a joke. Sorry, Midwest.
